The Direction of FEST has had the pleasure to conclude with the Belgrade production house “Dunav film” an agreement on the premiere of Jovan Jovanovic’s “Young and Healthy like a Rose” on this year’s FEST!

Jovanovic’s film was made in 1971 and was “banned without a ban” after just one screening on the Pula Festival; it was never shown in domestic theaters and thus this will be its premiere! Nobody, not even the author himself and Dunav Film have since had any information about the whereabouts of the sole remaining positive – copy of the film, but thanks to the producer’s initiative and the joint idea with FEST, Dunav film will have the already restaurated negative of the film on a 35 mm copy by the beginning of FEST!

Starring in the film are Dragan Nikolic, Marija Baksa, Aleksandar Gavric and Danilo – Bata Stojkovic.

The film shall be broadcasted three times on FEST: twice in Sava Center and once in Dom Omladine; they will be attended by the director, Mr. Jovan Jovanovic, who has been of long living in Ljubljana.
