FILM PROGRAM

The 36th FEST will see the premiere of 75 new films from all around the globe, the laureates of the most prestigious world festivals, distinguished awards, as well as the works of the most topical authors and actors of global cinematography. The official screenings will be attended by many distinguished and renowned guests from abroad, authors, actors and producers.

Just like previous years, the FEST Program will be divided into several program parts.

HORIZONS – The program including the winners of several last year’s festivals, which will see their premiere in Sava Centar.

FANTASY – Contemporary Asian film is in the focus of FEST this year too. This program includes films from Asia, representing the world in a fantastic manner.

SINCERELY FROM RUSSIA – After a successful presentation of the German film last year, this year a special program is dedicated to the work of topical Russian filmmakers.

FACTS AND PUZZLES – FEST’s standard program dedicated to contemporary feature documentary film.

THE MAP – This year, FEST is offering its visitors films of young authors, which have with their work drawn the attention of both the public and the critics on festivals worldwide.

EUROPE OUT OF EUROPE – The third edition of this program will present important works from Croatia, BiH, Macedonia, Turkey, Russia, Georgia, Serbia… which will, just like last year, compete for the Award of the Festival. The three-strong international jury will decide upon the award.

Members of the jury will be announced at a later date.
